We call it Cthulhu

"Don't ask me why. Shot on Video C, the worst format ever, we held onto this tape until we had the means to do a basic videotronice vhs edit. Looks like crap, but it shows how far we have come."

Now this one deserves a little explaination. It was a different time and what might be interpreted as racists by today's snowflakes was certainly not. Our friend, Leslie Aaron who played the character, "Cthulhu," was always well known for dating exclusively black girls. Hence Todd, in the jean jacket constantly calling him, "Colored Boy."

We were hot off of our Misssion Impossible and Ramdo movie screenings. That influence is very apparent to me. I didn't think of it as racist or even blackface to be honest. I'd never produce anything like this in our current day and age but it was innocent. There's no racism in it and them's the facts. Take it for what it is.

We did have black friends at the time, but none who lived close enough to appear in any of our early weekend film adventures.
