I couldn't get a grip as, the socket I was using had a magnetic grip in it, instead of a rubber grip. With the end of the plug breaking off, the docket could not grab the plug. This will work only if the hex hasn't broken off, even if the stem is completely gone. If your hex snapped off, you're pulling a head.
