Chicken laying soft eggs

Chicken Molly has been laying soft shelled eggs lately. Watch as she lays the soft egg in her nest.

We have been monitoring Molly for the last few weeks. She is a young layer who is in great over all health. Plenty of free access to layer feed and oyster shells. Very active and happy.

While we believe her soft eggs are a product of her being young, it seems to be happening to much, so we will be de worming very soon just in case.
