A Sliver Of Light

Darkness comes in like a flood, it makes our soul shiver. Deceit surrounds us on all sides causing despair to rise in our heart. Against us are the wicked hearts full of the violent trickery of dark deeds, yet, God is with us. Our shiver of fear is shut down by His Sliver of Light, the brilliance of His truth, a revelation which exposes the dark deeds of evil prevailing against right and good. God is able to defeat our enemies, so we patiently endure with faith and hope, which lights up our darkness and shatters our shiver with the reality of God’s truth and peace.
