Kayaking in the San Joaquin River July 30, 2019, beginning at the Fremont Ford Boat Launch on Hwy 140, going up to the Hwy 165 bridge, and back. This is a nice, easy paddle in late summer, but the river can be crazy during the rainy season or when water is released from the dam, check conditions, bring drinking water, sunscreen and bug spray (West Nile in Area).
