Dandelions Dandelions

Like the Stones Satisfaction, our group The Grey Company had just signed with Columbia records 'doing this and signing that'. We were at Gerde's Folk City (where Bob Dylan started) practicing for a two-week gig. I played Dandelions to our group and then we took a cab to Columbia and in the cab, the Stones Dandelion started to play on the radio for the first time. We were tuned-in to the scene in those days! Of course, that meant the song as in 'You Can't Get What You Want': "it was dead' ---- taken!!! Now it can stand on its own.
