Misadventure on Black Balsam Knob

Hey Friends! The plan was to backpack Graveyard Fields to Black Balsam Knob and camp up on the ridge. Well... seeing as how this was my first ever attempt at backpacking there were a lot of things I failed to take into consideration and it didn't exactly go according to plan.
If you're interested in just day hiking this is a really neat place to check out and easily accessible. There are plenty of trail loops at varying distances to choose from. Black Balsam Knob is especially beautiful at sunset... just don't expect to have the epic views all to yourself!
