S8E3 – An Informal Look at Gear Head Works Model 2 Pistol Brace

Pistol braces are something approved by the BATF as pistol accessories. The AR15 platform has a receiver extension/buffer tube that is necessary for the bolt carrier group (BCG) to travel into as the firearm cycles. The BCG has quite a bit of mass in it and as a result, an AR pistol is difficult to accurately fire. A pistol brace is used to secure the firearm and can be a great advantage for the disabled.
