Ruger Custom M1 Carbine .1022
Does your safe have a Ruger 10/22 in it yet? If not, you’ll want to change that. The 10/22 will be a great ally to have in any disaster or scenario even in your everyday life for a day at the range. This Ruger 10/22 pays tribute to the original M1 semi-automatic carbine. The M1 Carbine Sling with Oiler is completely faithful to the early horseshoe type 1st issue slings. Even after all of these years, there is much to be learned from our forefathers’ examples of perseverance, commitment, and courage. The M1 carbine (formally the United States Carbine, Caliber .30, M1) was a lightweight semi-automatic carbine that was a standard issue for the U.S. military during World War II, the Korean War and well into the Vietnam War. This 10/22 pays tribute to it and the men who kept us free with it. I have wanted one since seeing it on the television show COMBAT! s.2 ep.31 Infant of Prague 1964 Platoon Leader 2nd Lt. Gil Hanley uses one in the best episode ever. America’s most-decorated Soldier of World War II, Lt. Audie Murphy, used a field phone, a .50-cal. M2 Browning and an M1 Carbine when he fought off a German combined arms attack on Jan.26,1945.
