Jesus said the church supposed to be the "salt". Salt in Jesus' day was primarily used as a preservative.
The Church is supposed to PRESERVE the ancient morals.
But the Church has exchanged her "salt" for sugar. Their sermons are not salty anymore. Rather, it is full of sweet little nothings.
