Evergreen Song

"Evergreen" is the love song from the 1976 movie, "A Star is Born." Composed by Barbra Streisand, lyrics by Paul Williams (who also wrote the Love Theme for Television Show "Love Boat," "An Old Fashioned Love Song" made popular by Three Dog Night, and "We've Only Just Begun" made popular by The Carpenters). Streisand and Williams, as composers, earned an Academy Award for Best Original Song, giving Streisand the status of the first woman to be honored as a composer; also earning a Grammy Award for Song of the Year. They also won Golden Globes for Best Original Song.
