William Galvin Jr. led police on a three-state chase that began in Ocean City, went through Delaware, back into Maryland to Perryville where he drove his allegedly stolen truck onto the mainline of the Northeast Corridor to escape police. After attempting to run over police officers, who then unloaded a fuselage of bullets towards him, he fled into woods, hopped a southbound Amtrak train in Wilmington, Del., and went to D.C. to connect to his escape into Virginia.
