Did Creation Only Take Six Days?

30X2 Video: There are Christians who want evolution and an old earth to be a part of the Bible. To do that requires taking the word day in Genesis 1, that's the word “yom” in Hebrew, to mean something other than a 24- hour day.

A study of “yom” and the structure of Genesis reveals it is a historical narrative and “yom” in Genesis 1 means a 24-hour day. But that eliminates the possibility of evolution being true... so there are some Christians who refuse to believe thist. That means they must also reject a plain reading of Exodus 20:11

“For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.”

Claiming that Genesis 1 does not mean what it plainly says, causes problems throughout scripture. God spoke clearly in Genesis one... telling us He created everything in six 24-hour days.
