Making a Batt with a Drum Carder

This is a 4” Brother Drum Carder purchased from their Etsy store. I had heard a lot of good things about this brand when I first started in Fiber Arts and this carder has proven to be an invaluable tool in preparing Fiber for spinning. As someone who spins primarily thread, having a fluffy batt or roving that is easy to draft makes the spinning go smoother.
