What is the story with brass?

Look I know I don't like it when people go on with steampunk and steampunk that, but brass has a central plugin for the game. Going on record that brass is a malleable substance and to clarify was the first metal people played with, so it makes sense to name it the muse of steampunk. If your gonna nail and hammer the way this comes about then look to the forms we have given brass. And, how we still like to use it to do many day items.
