Solo 603, A Modern 100cc Chainsaw from the 1980's

Hard to argue against this is one of the BETTER designs from a second tier company of any time. Solo was another German brand , like Dolmar ( Now Makita ) that never really took hold here in the US. They produced completely competitive in any test of reliability and performance chainsaws for a few years but could not crack the market place,
