When traveling in time it seems almost nobody considers the space aspect of spacetime. The earth is rotating on its axis at 1,000 mph, revolving around the sun at 66,000 mph, orbiting the center of the Milky Way Galaxy at 514,000 mph, and the whole galaxy is moving at 1,342,000 mph.

So if you zapped back in time even one second to the exact place in spacetime you are in now, you would end up at least 1.3 million miles from where you are now, or roughly six times farther from earth than the moon.

We also get into the fringe hippy theoretical physical laws of being optimistic and positive, and ultimately ask the question: will Mars Colonization mirror the 1849 Gold Rush? Who knows. Join the party and enjoy!
