And all the ones having this hope upon Him purifies themselves, just as He is pure. Everyone doing the sin is doing the lawlessness and the sin is lawlessness. And we intuitively know that that One was manifested in order that the sins should be taken away, and there is no sin in Him. - 1 John 3:3-5
