The white dove of Tetouan

Tetouan is one of the Moroccan cities of Andalusian character, and it is unique in preserving the Andalusian Islamic civilization, and this is evidenced by what traditional families carry in the city of Andalusian cultural values, especially those that inhabited the old city and then moved to modern neighborhoods. The city has a long history, and it is indicated that it has been found. Excavations and traces of them in the city of Tamouda dating back to the third century BC, which was completely destroyed by the Roman armies in the year 42 BC, and it is mentioned that the name Tetouan or Tatouan was mentioned in the travels since the eleventh century.
