What does Peter want to remind believers in 2 Peter 1? Peter's admonition to the saints is that we can have firm confidence in God's Word and the promises and provisions contained therein. Because we tend to forget our origins, we need constant reminder of the powerful work of God in our lives and in the lives of our fellow saints.
