Bye, Bye, Fake News Network

One bright spot in 2021 -- we will no longer be subjected to CNN’s airport network. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. CNN announced this week it is pulling plug on its long-running Airport Network, citing a deep decline in airport traffic because of Covid as one of the reasons.

For years, CNN has relied heavily on airport travelers for its viewership, which had cratered for much of the Trump presidency. People on Social media are thrilled to see an end to this onerous aspect of the fake news network. Here’s a sampling of what people are saying.

2021 is looking up already.
