Squirrel in the house

We had five cats who had access via pet doors to the outdoors. One in particular, the one on top of the cat tree, was always bringing things home. Usually dead and sometimes half eaten. But this time she brought in a live squirrel and then tired of playing with it.The squirrel was on the cat tree and did not want to leave.
