In the first video I painted this scene on a bright acrylic underpainting. How does a different foundation change the outcome of a painting? For this attempt, I started my painting with an underpainting of burnt sienna washes. In this method, I can define all my values before adding color. I tend to paint tighter and with more realistic colors in this method.
