NYE Live at Ohio Emperor Mike DeWine's 12/31/20, Part 2 of 2

December 31, 2020 After DeWine colluded with Larry Obhof to kill SB311, we decided to show up at Emperor DeWine's to throw a raging party. This was the last day that SB311 could have been brought to the Senate floor for a veto override vote. If the Senate had done their job, the House had already provided the evidence that they would do theirs. If SB311 had passed both the Senate and the House, it still wouldn't have taken effect for 90 days. That means relief wouldn't have come for small business owners, elderly in nursing homes, kids struggling to breath in schools, cancer patients still being denied treatment, terminally ill patients still being denied in-home care, etc...for NINETY DAYS. But even that was too "extreme" for Emperor DeWine.

As we rang in the new year LOUDLY, so began a new legislative session. The earliest a new SB311-like bill could be passed is June. In the meantime, all the aforementioned Ohioans and more continue to suffer under the rule of a tyrant. That is why we're loud. That is why we'll never stop being loud.
