Apostasy in Islam. Is it allowed?

Come to islam they say…it is peace they say…
Then you go in and find out it’s a series of repetitive OCD exercises, with condemnation if missed, dodgy and impossible theology, no proof of Muhammad’s prophethood or the Quran’s divine source and no assurance of salvation whatsoever. You thus decide to leave. After all...it shouldn’t be any trouble. A religion of peace and its adherents, should be…EXTREMELY peaceful…shouldn’t they?
