Tigers are mammals and are part of the feline family.

Tigers are carnivorous animals.

Of the 8 subspecies described by the scientists, only 5 still survive, and they are different type species:

Siberian tiger, Bengal tiger, Sumatran tiger, South Indian tiger and the Indochinese tiger.

It is found in the forests and savannas of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, India

Of all the felines in the wild, the Siberian tiger is the largest.
