Swiss Post purchased Scytl source code in 2019, never warned U.S of problems. DOJ orders Probe

Swiss Post the national postal service of Switzerland, purchased the sole proprietary rights for Scytl source code in 2019. They never warned the U.S. or other countries who subsequently used this software in their elections of the problems and vulnerabilities they found. One being votes could be switched from one candidate to another with no trace. Swiss Post purchased these rights from Scytl when they were in bankruptcy. Why didn't Switzerland notify the United States and others of the vulnerabilities?
