White shingle Island Gone

A small island six miles north of Tobermory, Ontario, Canada is now gone. White Shingle Island was levelled over the winter of 2019/20 by a combination of high water levels, ice movement and waves. It was completely submerged in the spring and summer of 2020, but may reform again as apparently this has happened before, records show it was submerged in 1884 as well.
