Many moons ago, I was a remote radio operator MOS 31D later changed to 31R. I was also a machine gunner. I assisted the wire dogs to run their encrypted telephones and set up a 15-meter antenna in a remote area. I programmed SINCGARS radios and loaded keys into V-1 and V-3 radios. These were the first days of digital cellular signal and global positioning satellites. It was a time of high adventure.

I served from 1993-1999.
