Salvation - Our Spirit

Part of our salvation is a connection to God through our rational part that allows us to not only receive the things of God but understand them and properly apply them to our lives.

For what man intuitively knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man, the one in him? 1 Corinthians 2:11
But the one knit together with the Lord is one quality of spirit – 1 Corinthians 6:17.
For who knows a quality of the mind of the Lord, the one knit together with Him? Indeed, we have a quality of the mind of Christ – 1 Corinthians 2:16.
But the soulish human does not receive the things of the Spirit from God for they are foolishness to him, and he is not inherently able to know because they are spiritually discerned. – 1 Corinthians 2:14
