Texas is a friendly and welcoming place, but don't move here and criticize the way we do things here, and above all, don't vote for liberal democrats who are more than willing to take are freedoms away. If you are intent on remaining a liberal Democrat, then please consider some other state like Washington, Oregon, Nevada or Virginia. They have everything you want, and a more favorable climate.
