This knitting tutorial from Wise Owl Knits, formerly Cheryl Beckerich Knits, demonstrates how to Cast on Top Down, 2 at a Time Socks using the Magic Loop. Once Cast On, I show you how to begin working in the round on both socks.
1. CO half the sts for the 1st sock.
2. Slide those sts to the other end of the circular needle, so that they are still on the cable, but adjacent to the needle.
3. CO all the sts for the 2nd sock. Slide those sts to the middle of the needle.
4. CO the 2nd half of the sts for the 1st sock.
I use the German Twisted CO method, but you can also use the long tail method. I do have a video showing you how to do both CO methods.
