Cleaning the BAMBECO Bee House

I bought a BAMBECO a couple of years ago. The first year only had a few bees interested in it. Last year, I had much more activity, but I believe the birds had a buffet before the new bees could emerge.

It is recommended that bee houses should be cleaned each year. This is to prevent mites from taking over the house and then killing the bees. With a small bee house, like the BAMBECO bee house, it is a fairly simple job.
