Let’s eat and drink

A sobering passage in Isaiah which reminds us to walk in repentance and trusting God for our salvation.
If you are a believer in Jesus who is walking with the Lord but occasional trip-ups happens, “we have an advocate with the Father; Christ Jesus, our Lord”, repent and be reconciled to God. I don’t want believers to think that they’ll lose their salvation as soon as they make a mistake, that all of sudden God will withhold His love from you. No, our God is a loving Father, He longs to forgive us and draw us to Himself, more than we long for Him. But He will not violate our will and will not force us, that is true love, no compulsion. Some people may ask, then why does a loving God send people to hell? Loving God doesn’t nullify His nature as True, Just & Righteous. So, He cannot let sin go unpunished, but He is not doing it willingly, He in fact says “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked...”.

It’s appointed for all to die once and then to face judgement, once you exit (stop breathing) that opportunity to repent is over. Choose wisely, eternity means FOREVER.
