This will teach your dog to go to a rug or carpet and remain on it until you give the release command "your Through". While walking your dog there on your right side, say place and stop short of the rug or carpet. allow you dog to go the rest of the way. Once on the rug or carpet they can do whatever they want except come off until told so. If your going to leave them there for awhile, place their toys on it as well. If you make a mistake and tell them to stay or down, simply release them and place them back on the rug or carpet. You can move the rug or carpet around the house where you need it to control them. Entertaining company, cooking or eating all will control your dog when needed.
