Peace the right way

I have notice this misconception that peace some how means we just agree with everything done and said. This Idea is not biblical we are to be peaceable while standing on truth, more times then not this will put you at variance with others for the gospel sake. There are two extreme views in the one view I have to be against everyone who isn't saved for the sake of being contrarian, on the other extreme I have to agree with everything just to keep the peace. We should stand on truth be peaceable when possible while never wavering on what is taught in scripture.
