Everyday it’s the same game,
Find someone to blame.
No I don’t want to self-reflect,
It’s much easier to deflect.
Why should I forgive,
When folks affect the way I live?
In the mirror, that wretched guy I see,
He ain’t really me.
No, that’s not denial talking,
Perhaps you best be walking.
‘Cause if you don’t accept my words are true,
I really don’t have time for you.

I realize that I messed up,
Guess it’s time I fess up.
Been thinking about what I’ve done,
I really need to seek the Son,
To forgive every sin and lie,
For which He was willing to die.
In the mirror now I see,
A way I can truly be free,
From the sinful life I’ve been walking,
It’s time for more than talking.
God, I know what you say is true,
I’d better make time for you.
