New Illinois - Grievance 3

The US Constitution guarantees that the states will have a republican form of government, which means government of the people, by the people, and for the people. For this type of government to exist, the voice of the people must be HEARD. But the corrupt political machine controlling the State of Illinois is intent on stifling the people’s voice.

Grievance 3 details how Illinois politicians have used extreme gerrymandering to consistently degrade the influence of voters outside of Chicago and urban Cook County. Extreme gerrymandering violates both the United States Constitution and the Illinois Constitution.
