It’s no wonder people in northern Nigeria suspect vaccination programs as being covert depopulation devices. And we call them “conspiracy theorists.” They are vulnerable to global powers in their quests for resources, after decades of different kinds of abuse and exploitation.

They are told they have a population growth that is threatening the global environment. We know by first-hand experience in many regions of northern Nigeria that the population is not the problem. Global corruption is the problem the environment is facing. Stealing of resources prevents local populations managing their environments responsibly, growing in education and health, and caring for their children. And it is the chemical farming techniques promoted through bribery by monopolies that are killing the environment. If we want to rehabilitate the environment and baby health care, the solution is simple: stop the massive global financial corruption.

Over population is not our problem. It’s injustice at the level of local community that is sucking our resources, so we can’t care for our children and care for our environment.
