Monumental Win in Protecting the Heartbeat of a Child

In a major step forward in the pro-life movement, the Governor of South Carolina has signed the South Carolina Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act. The law prohibits abortions at the detection of a fetal heartbeat. When Governor McMaster signed the bill into law, Planned Parenthood immediately sued, calling the measure "blatantly unconstitutional."
