NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio recently released hundreds of prisoners due to pandemic concerns, many of which were immediately arrested again shortly after release for committing further crimes. NYC now has historically high crime rates, yet Mayor De Blasio says "we are ssafer for it."
Bill de Blasio is an American politician who has served as the 109th mayor of New York City since 2014. A member of the Democratic Party, he was New York City's public advocate from 2010 to 2013.
