Wanda Jackson started her career in the 1950's as a rockabilly singer. She became known as "The Queen Of Rockabilly".

This particular album was released in 1968 on the Vocalion label (at that time a budget subsidiary of Decca Records) as a compilation of a number of Wanda Jackson recordings that had been previously released between 1955 and the early 1960's.
