People have had peas on the table for a long time. Such a small little vegetable adding so much glam and prosperity to any vegetable display. Even the habitat that the pea grows in can be eaten whole. the leaves are ok to eat for a bit and the stock is a tasty chew. Better than a grass stem.Made famous by the back bacon green pea soup. And made into a week-long festival though has not taken off as huge across non-marrintime provinces where the festival originated. Called National split pea week.
