This Is Plan B

I headed to a lake I'd never been on before in the dark and spent an hour drilling holes looking for deeper water. I couldn't find it (no smartphone here, just looked at maps before I left the house), so I hopped on a different lake where I knew I'd be able to get a few crappies before it got too light out.
