Maine Citizens Initiative Will Limit Governor's Emergency Powers: Signature petition now circulating

Free Maine PAC is circulating a petition to place a Citizens' Initiative on the 2022 Maine ballot that would require a 2/3 majority vote of the legislature in order for a governor to extend their "emergency powers" longer than 30 days. Beacon For Sovereignty, a pro-freedom group in Maine has pledged its support to help collect signatures.
