This was recorded on 2/13/13. At the time, I rented a room about 7' x 10' for around $700 dollars a month. The room was located on 88th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenue, in Manhattan, Upper East Side (UES) on a beautiful, tree-lined street across from a beautiful old church that was still functioning.

Due to the fact that I had recently arrived in New York and the size of the room, my possessions were minimal. I'm playing along with this song on a Casio WK-7500 keyboard which I still own.

While living in New York City and Brooklyn, I worked as an extra aka BackGround (BG) actor for films and TV. A few years after this, I was on set of a movie, in the Upper East Side, and Jason Schwartzman, actor/singer/musician, who is actually singing this song "East Coast" complimented me on my shoes. I replied: "Thanks!" He seems like a nice guy.
