Strange Light of Hope

An excerpt from a book, I am writing, entitled "Rise and Fall: A Discourse Upon the Phenomena of Civilisation and of Decline", by Silas. This is a small excerpt from the conlcusionary section; it is rather insignificant compared to the other material present within the book, but I thought it would be quite a poignant synopsis of some of the current political events taking place.
