Passover Celebrations: How To
I think we should raise the question how should Pastor will be celebrated and are we celebrating it the way we should? I would say in general probably the answer is no. I see very little in the Bible the Old Testament or the New Testament that really correlates to how Passover celebrate it now. Whether I’m on Christians Jews, I don’t see people celebrating Passover joyfully it’s usually a somber thing. But that’s not what I get from viewing scripture in either Exodus oar the four Gospels. I see something that is quietly joyful, triumphant, pensive but hopeful, and regal. Regal joyfulness or joyful reality would be I think a better tone. It’s a victorious day. We not only have our Messiah but the people of Israel are also settled in the land of Israel and that’s a good thing. What do we have to be sad and bitter about? We have what Abraham had, and he was happy with his life. What temple did he have? And yet he was still happy. Can’t and shouldn’t we also be as well?
