Tortoise Buries Her Eggs

I was walking to the mailbox one afternoon and saw a tortoise burying her eggs. Three months later I noticed that they'd hatched and the little ones where nowhere to be found. There were only three eggs. It was the first time I'd ever seen it happening so thought I'd share it.
