Dressing a fancy 14th century hat - bycocket

My friend Fulke wet-felted this hat in Marino wool, and I trim it in more wool, silk, and pearl. I embedded a wire to the front half of the brim to hold the long beak in shape, and added a copy of a 14th c. brooch (from the Erfurt Treasure).
